Why homeowners choose us

Honest documentation. No sales pitch.

The reason homeowners trust The Roof Firm is simple: we have nothing to sell you but the truth about your roof.

Independent, drone-based documentation.

The Roof Firm isn’t a roofing contractor — we don’t do repairs. Our job is to fly your roof and give you clear, honest documentation of what’s up there, so you can make an informed decision.

A clear, professional report

You receive organized photos, video, and a written summary documenting your roof’s visible condition — clear and easy to understand.

Upfront, flat pricing

The price you book is the price you pay. Larger or complex homes are quoted before any work begins — never a surprise.

Weather-safe scheduling

If conditions ground the flight, we reschedule at no charge. You’re never billed for a scan we couldn’t safely complete.

Your privacy, respected

Flights happen only with your permission and stay focused on your property — never over a neighbor’s home.

FAA-licensed & accountable

Every scan is flown by a certified Part 107 remote pilot operating under federal safety rules.

What you receive

Clear roof views homeowners can understand.

Your report is built to be easy to review, save, and share.

Close-up aerial view of roof shingles, gutters, and edges

Drone photos and roof video

Aerial imagery helps document shingles, valleys, roof edges, gutters, vents, flashing, debris, and other visible roof features from above.

Aerial thermal image of a residential roof

Thermal add-on documentation

Thermal imagery can visually highlight heat patterns and potential areas that standard photos may not show as clearly. It is documentation only, not a leak diagnosis.

Ground view vs drone view

See the areas you usually cannot see from the yard.

A roof can look one way from the ground and very different from above.

What you may notice from the ground

These are common things homeowners may see without climbing a ladder.

  • Dark streaks, staining, or debris
  • Missing or lifted shingles near the roof edge
  • Gutter overflow, sagging, or buildup
  • Branches, leaves, or storm debris on lower roof areas
  • Ceiling stains or interior moisture concerns

What drone documentation can show

A drone scan provides a clearer view of roof areas that are hard to see from below.

  • Valleys, ridges, and roof planes
  • Flashing, vents, pipe boots, skylights, and chimney areas
  • Gutters and roof edges from above
  • Shingle condition patterns across the roof surface
  • Debris buildup, drainage concerns, and visible wear

Questions

Quick answers.

Simple answers before you book.

Which package should I choose?

Most homeowners choose the $299 Complete Drone Roof Scan + Report. Choose the $399 3D Model + Estimate Report if you want 3D documentation and a planning estimate range. Add thermal for +$150 if you want thermal imagery included.

Do you climb on the roof?

No. This is a drone-based documentation service designed to capture visible roof areas from the air where safe and legal.

How fast do I receive the report?

Most residential reports are delivered same day when available. Large homes or complex roof structures may take 24–48 hours after successful capture.

Is this a roofing repair service?

No. The Roof Firm LLC provides drone-based visual roof documentation only. Roofing repairs, engineering opinions, public adjusting, and insurance claim services are outside the service.

Is thermal a damage guarantee?

No. Thermal imagery can visually highlight temperature differences and potential problem areas, but it is not a moisture guarantee, leak diagnosis, engineering opinion, or insurance claim determination.

Is the estimate a roofing quote?

No. The estimate is a homeowner-friendly budget range based on visible documentation and approximate measurements for planning purposes. It is not a contractor bid or repair guarantee.

Who can see my inspection report and photos?

Your report is prepared for you. With your permission, we may also connect you with vetted local roofing or insurance partners — for example, to help you get repair quotes. This is always optional: you choose at booking and can opt out at any time. We don’t share your information without your consent.
